Brayden's 1st Christmas - Part Two

We got over to Lance's parents house (JuJu & PaPa's) around 10:30 Christmas morning; there were so many people coming over & so much food needed to be made that I wanted to be there to help. Brayden was in he kitchen helping us.



When Brayden was over being in the kitchen he & Lance decided to chill on the sofa; we brought his nap nanny with us since he has been sleeping in it every night recently. We love this darn thing & so does Brayden; it keeps his head elevated & with him having such a lingering bad cold it helps with the drainage issue he has been having (it is a hell of a lot better than elevating his crib, that's for sure!!)


Tille has the cutest tree for the kids; Brayden's name was added to the list this year & I was so excited to see it on the tree!!





When Tille & I finished in the kitchen she finally got to spend some time with the grandkids & then we changed little mans clothes (my dumb ass didn't get a full picture of it & it was adorable) & then everyone arrived & we at a very yummy meal. Brayden napped while we ate & then it was time for more presents...Brayden got so much to play with & grow into that we are actually going to store one of our spare bedroom suites & make that room into a play room/craft room for Brayden & I.......we can't wait & I will post more on that later!!






Around 5 Brayden hit the wall & was done; he was still being really good but we could tell that he was feeling yucky & we needed to get him home & in bed for a good nights sleep......that did not happen!!

Brayden's 1st Christmas - Part One

It was such a wonderful & fun day; we got up as usual Friday morning & opened presents at our house & then we ventured over to JuJu & PaPa's house for the rest of the day. All day Brayden was a trooper; he had a slight fever through out the day but that didn't stop our little man from smiling from ear to ear all day!!

I hope everyone had as wonderful of a day yesterday as we did.....I will have to post pictures & everything later today because we are off to the doctor for Brayden; he had a low fever all day yesterday (100-100.6) but it spiked last night to 102.7, I gave him Tylenol & we called our 24 hour advise line (THANK YOU Kaiser for this) & as we were waiting for the return call it went down to 101.4 & then 100.8 so they told us to bring him in the morning at 9. It breaks my heart our poor little man can't shake this damn cold!!

I Just Found....

the ornaments that Marisela sent to me with the other wonderful presents (I posted previously about this).....I am reusing the box that she sent everything in & was taking out the tissue paper that was in the bottom & there they were; one for Brayden, Lance & myself.....they are absolutely ADORABLE!!! Thank you so much again Marisela!!!

I Love My.....

Circut. I got it on Black Friday & couldn't wait to start using it; I am making everyone's Christmas present tag with it & I think that they are turning out pretty well......what do you think? I know that the machine has a ton of things that it can do but this is as far as I have gotten..........

Last Day of Work For A While!!

We have our Christmas luncheon today at work & then we are closed until January 4th.....a woo hoo would be in order right now HOWEVER I have to work next Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday to get the month/year closing started & hopefully almost completely done. I am alright with it since no one else will be here I will be able to concentrate & get it done with no interruptions.

We decided to have a "Fiesta" style luncheon since everyone will have their traditional Christmas dinners on Friday & I couldn't more excited about all the dishes that everyone is bringing in. I made enchiladas & just hope that they taste as good as they look...I ment to take a picture last night when I was done but it was 9pm & that was way past my bed time & I forgot.

Lance was off early last night so he came home but had to go get his hair cut since he knew that I would be going camera crazy over the next few weeks & he hasn't been able to get there to get it done in quite a while. He got it cut a different way & I love it. He is trying to find an easier way to do it with less gel & by george I think he did it; I will be posting pictures like crazy I'm sure this weekend so just be on the look out for it!!

This is all I really have right now; I have a bunch more to catch up on from last week but I will need to do that from home so that I can upload the pictures too.......so I will just leave you all with some pictures of my beautiful, wonderful, smart & amazing little man. Brayden, mommy loves you more than I can put into words!!

Ornament Exchange Gifts

I was apart of the Ornament Swap that Mrs. Southern Belle had; I was matched up with Marisela & she made me the most wonderful gifts!! I love them so much & couldn't have been more surprised when I opened the box last week. The are both so soft; Brayden is enjoying his new blankie & I am LOVING the scarf. In fact it really came in handy this past weekend.....we didn't get snow like a ton of other people did (GA never really gets a good snow) but it damn sure was cold!!

We decorated about 2 weeks ago but things have been so crazy I never got to post any pictures of the house.......It is a work in progress & every year we buy more to add to the house so it is neat to see how each year the Christmas decor changes & gets better & now with Brayden we will soon have all his homemade stuff to add.......I can't wait!!
