Baby's now the size of an onion!
Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. His umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes now feature one-of-a-kind prints. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now and he's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. He can move his joints, and his sweat glands are starting to develop.

Wordless Wednesday........
We had our appointment yesterday at Stork Vision & we could not have been happier with the pictures & video that they were able to capture of our little BOY!!! I wish we would have gone to do this with Brayden as well..........it was AMAZING!!!
I have so much to catch up on since my family was here over the weekend to celebrate Thanksgiving & Christmas..........B pooped in the tub, was spoiled with lots of wonderful Christmas presents from Grams, Puddy, & Auny Mammie, had his 1st Thanksgiving dinner, played lots, went to the park, puked all over himself & his crib, slept like a champ (for one night) & did so much more!!!
So without any further adieu............

16 Weeks
Baby's now the size of an avocado!
Watch what you say...tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean she can now pick up your voice. A few more minuscule changes: Eyebrows, lashes, and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. He is about 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toe nails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

14 Weeks
Baby's now the size of a lemon!
Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine, and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys, and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over her body for warmth. By now, the ears are positioned properly on the sides of the head & the eyes are moving from the side of the head to the front of the face - where they will soon meet your loving gaze!
Due Date: May 6, 2011

Such A Clutz.........
I unexpectedly got to see Baby G #2 yesterday; I think I was having a bad dream Monday night & I guess I was trying to get out of bed & got caught up in the covers or my big ol' pillow because I fell right out of bed & straight down on my left butt cheek. I freaked out but felt alright; no pain, cramping, or bleeding ever appeared through out the rest of the night but I called the doctor when they opened & they actually said that I should have gone to the ER!! I felt horrible & really started to freak out & worry.
Thankfully I got in to get an ultrasound & everything looks perfect!!! The baby was moving & rolling around in there like crazy & his heartbeat was STRONG!!

I am going to have to be more careful getting out of bed from here on out but honestly I really don't know how I even fell. Honestly I think I was still dead asleep when I was trying to get up!

13 Weeks........
13 Weeks
Baby's now the size of a peach!
Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords...savor this, their nonfunctional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with his head now only one third the size of his body. And intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy -- much more convenient.
Due Date: May 6, 2011
Total weight gain: 3.5 lbs. (that is 1.5 more pounds than last week; what the hell??)
Morning Sickness: nope; I get dizzy & a little nauseous but not that often
Cravings: all things sweet, chocolate, sugary & spicy. Damn all the Halloween Candy in this house!!
Sleep: I wish I could get more than a few hours & I have never been able to nap.
I can't live without: Water; I am so thirsty all the time.
I miss: the way my jeans used to fit
I am looking forward to: decorating the nursery; there is so much out there & most of it is so adorable!
Milestones: Getting out of 1st trimester
Exercise: Walk with Brayden 5 mornings a week & let me tell you our neighbor is very hilly & his stroller is VERY heavy so I get a very good workout. I started my prenatal Pilate's this week too.
Diet: I see it & eat it all diet............I have gotta get control!!
Movement: Not yet

Making Room For Baby G #2...........
We have only been in this house for about 6 months & have been taking our time with decorating it; we finally had the spare bedroom beside Brayden almost completed when we found out that we were expecting so as pretty & as much as I loved the way this room was coming together...........we get to redecorate again & that makes me VERY happy. This is what the room used to look like.
This is what the room now looks like now; we have thankfully already sold the bed so it is out of the house. We have put the bench at the end of our bed & with some new cushions I think it will look great. The candle holders are going in our formal living room but the rest of the "stuff" has no home yet so it has all been neatly (right) placed in our office.

As far as what the new baby's nursery will look like that is still undecided; the doctor said it looks like a boy & I have been feeling boy I am still going to wait until our appointment next month to start decorating. I am of course going to start looking & planning but will be keeping that to myself until our appointment on November 23rd.
Here are Brayden & Lance working on taking the bed apart............

Baby G #2 Update & Photos.........
We had our appointment today with the specialist at Kaiser; we have to go because Lance has both a heart & lung issue. Everything looks good with our ever growing little munchkin & they are saying that the baby looks like a BOY!!! We don't care either way but to imagine B with a little brother thrills me to no end!! We will of course find out for sure next month but I am pretty sure that what they pointed out today was the same thing that I saw in Brayden's ultrasounds too.........a penis!!

What A Difference..........
I have heard that most women "pop" or "show" a lot sooner & quicker with their second child & all I have to say is it is true; my belly is already pushing out like crazy & it is not bloat or gas!!
This is when I was 11 weeks with Brayden.........
And here is me at 11 Weeks with Baby G #2 (yesterday)
I am amazed at how different I look belly wise & how horrible I look in the picture Lance took last night. I look like I just rolled out of bed not off the sofa. Anyway at this rate I will look 9 months pregnant by Christmas.........

11 Weeks Today.........
Here is the latest & greatest picture of Baby G. #2; isn't he/she beautiful? BG #2 is growing, healthy & that is all we could ask for. I know that I haven't really blogged about the new baby, well at all really, but we have been going though a few things (I'll blog about it at another time) & I was just waiting for everything to calm down & now I feel like it finally has & we can celebrate without any hesitation or fears!!
