Another 1st for the Boys!!

The boys had their 1st adventure on the boat 2 Sundays ago & even though it started off a bit rocky it ended PERFECTLY!!

When we got the boys out of the car to put their life vests on they both had melt downs.  The tight & constricting feeling was what bothered B & what bothered Colt was the fact that B was screaming at the top of his lungs to get his off so Colt wanted his off too.  I just walked down the ramp & all way way around the dock to our boat (which of course just so happened to be in one of the furthest slips) holding a screaming, kicking & yelling B that was trying with all of his might to rip his life vest off.  I finally got to the boat where he again was very upset & nervous BUT he finally calmed down once we started moving & the rest was perfection!!

This little guy had no fear of anything that was happening.  He was walking around on the boat like it was land! 

We finally got to a calm place & B was ready for the water.  He didn't ever get far away from the ladder but had a blast jumping in & out. 

The water was pretty rough so we didn't let Colt get in & he was fine with just watching anyway!

Plus he got time with daddy!! 

We had a great time & I wish I would have packed their lunch so that they could have stayed longer.  Honestly I planned for a very large disaster & really was pleased with the whole morning! 

The boys went home with JuJu & PaPa & Lance & I stayed on the lake & had a little alone time.  It was the best day & I can't wait to take them again!!

Halloween - Part 2

After getting home from Corn Dawgs & eating dinner we had time to kill so we just played out front & waited for it to get late enough to put B's costume on. I swear I was so so excited & it was so hard to wait; I was the kid in the candy store this year!! We planned on taking B trick or treating in his little tricycle so we went ahead & pulled it out & let him get used to it; he has never really been a fan of it so we were hoping for the best!!

Like I said I was excited so I kept doing things because I couldn't wait; I changed him into his black shirt & gave him his bucket & light to play with & not shockingly he liked to carry them both. 

Then I couldn't wait anymore; I had to put his costume on him. We were planning on taking him early anyway so I just did it. I really expecting him to not want to wear it (especially the hat) but he loved it & just acted like it was a normal outfit.........except for the mittens! We could only get him to wear them for a second so eventually Lance just put them on the handle bars of his bike & there they stayed. 

He did great walking up to the few houses we went too & loved looking in his bucket to see what he was given!!

 I would have to say that Halloween was a great success this year & I am already thinking about next year & getting to dress up 2 little ones!!  Here are some more photos & the last one is my favorite of the day; he was looking at me with such a smirk on his little precious face & I think it is perfection!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone...........

Here is our pumpkin with his pumpkin the day he got it & sadly it has taken me this long to do anything with it except set it outside on the front porch table; very sad I know!!

I did cheated this year & just painted our pumpkin; carving is not my thing, Lance was working all day & I just got tired of looking at a plain 'ol pumpkin so this is what we have now (with a few added graphics; I was having a bit of fun)!! 

I love it & think that it is perfect & B liked it too & that is really all that matters!!  Here he is in his Halloween pajama's admiring mommy's art skills!!

We have a fun filled day today & we can't wait for tonight when little man gets to get all dressed up as Mickey Mouse & go trick or treating for the first time!! I am sure that I will have a ton of pictures & will of course share them with you all!
