Lance Felt Brayden For The First Time....
Here is my 22 week 6 day belly.....
I was sitting on the sofa & told Lance to come sit next to me & when he did I put his hand on my belly & he just looked at me funny & then it happened....Brayden moved & Lance felt it! It was so great for him to finally feel him moving; Brayden is a very active little boy...he gets that from both his mom & dad so I have a feeling we are going to have our hands full with our little lovebug!!
Shopping Weekend....
I had a wonderful weekend of shopping & loved every moment of it! On Saturday..in the tyrannical rain...I went shopping for maternity clothes! I had to give in and go but a few pairs of pants & let me just say that I have not felt comfort in quite a while like I am feeling right now! I have on my "Oh Baby" maternity pants that I got at Kohl's & they are wonderful!! I also picked up some shirts for Lance while I was out since he has lost so much weight (working out like crazy) & we are going on vacation in 2 weeks he needed so new ones that fit! Then yesterday Lance, his mom, & I went shopping again. We went to TJ Maxx & I got some new summer shirts that I can wear until I get really big; then it was off to DSW for new "flat" shoes & then to BRU to order Brayden's glider for his room.....this was the most exciting purchase of the weekend! I love it & can't wait for it to get here, it will be here in 7-10 days which is good since his room isn't painted yet!

Brayden's Furniture.....
Lance picked up the 2 pieces of Brayden's furniture that came in yesterday even though he is not feeling well at all. I thought that he would just leave everything in the boxes but he actually put his changing table in the room & it looks so cute.....I can't wait for the room to get painted & to get the other piece that we are waiting for (the 5 drawer dresser). Brayden now has a room that has his stuff in it & that makes me feel all warm & toasty inside. The empty wall is where the dresser is going to go & his glider chair will go in the corner by the window.....as you can see our bulldog, Georgia, is excited about there being stuff in the room as well (I am sure that she thinks it is all her stuff :)

Brayden's Furniture Is In.....
& I can't wait for Lance to go pick it up this Wednesday!! We can't really set up the room because it is not painted yet & won't be for about 3 weeks but it is here & we (Lance) can at least put it together in the nursery so that I can have something to look at when I stare into Brayden's room which I find myself doing quite a bit these days. I walk by his room & stop just to look & my quick look seems to turn into a few minutes. I just can't wait to see it all come together & then to see out little love bug in there in July (maybe August) sleeping peacefully, safe & sound!! We decided to go with the black furniture since we are having a boy Lance gets to have his Bulldog Boy room....it is going to be so cute.....we picked up the cutest lamp the other day too, we had a hard time deciding on which on to get. We like the Tiffany style lamps but they look more like they belong in a bar NOT in a child's room, so we found one that is kind of like the above picture but taller.
22 Weeks Along....
And counting!! It seems like time is flying by now & of course now I want it to slow down! I love feeling Brayden moving around in my belly.....I smile every time I feel it. I am not feeling the really powerful movements yet but I know that they are coming though & I also know that Lance & I are going to have our hands full with this little one! I think that he is going to take after both Lance & I in the active department & want to be on the go all the time. Lance & I were talking the other night & I said something like "well your son" & we both just looked at each other, smiled & said WOW....our son will be here soon!! What do you know I am getting all teared up again; my hormones are going crazy this past week. The water works just won't stop :)

Doctor's Appt Last Friday; 21 Weeks Along!
So I had to go to the doctor last Friday, March 20th, so that my mid wife could go over all the information & test results that were done at Dr. Hamners office the week before & I got to here Brayden's heartbeat again & I just lost it; I feel so blessed that God has given us such a wonderful gift. I really do thank God everyday for the life that he has gift Lance & I....it is just so wonderful...not to mention the fact that I have been blessed with an easy pregnancy so far (keeping my fingers crossed that it says this way all the way through delivery). Anyway....Dr. Alverez said that Brayden's heartbeat is strong & everything looks good....she also said for me not to stress out about the placenta previal; she said that since it was such a small portion of the placenta in the way that I had nothing to stress about at this point & she is 95% sure that it will move out of the way ( I am praying everyday that it does....I DO NOT want to have a c-section!).
OK, I stated above that I have had an easy pregnancy & I really have but I do have to admit that my hormones are making my emotions CRAZY! I am getting emotional about just about everything these days. The emotions that I feel are taking there toll on me & I am just hoping that they pass soon!!

Family Pictures
I feel like we have been so busy these days & I guess we really have been! We had family pictures with Lance's dads part of the family this past Sunday & we actually have our first family photos....I was so excited when the photographer asked us to do these poses & it almost brought me to tears!! We are so happy that we have these so show little Brayden one day down the road....plus both of our mom's couldn't be more thrilled to see these & to know that we got them both copies of them too! Brayden is going to be 1 spoiled little boy; not only by his mom & dad but by his Grams, Puddy, Paw Paw, & Ju Ju........we all love Brayden Lance so much & just can't wait to meet him!
21 Weeks Along......
So today I am 21 Weeks along.....woo hoo! I am starting to feel little Brayden moving more & more everyday. We have ordered his furniture & it should be here in about a week & I can't wait to see it all set up in his Bulldog room! We have registered at BRU & Target & I finally feel like everything is coming together & getting done.........now if I could only stick to my workout routine I would be 100% on top of things. I have made myself a promise to work out 5 days a week to get my stamina & breathing up & better & ready for all the pushing I am going to be doing in 19 weeks. WOOH...only 19 weeks until we meet Brayden & I can't believe it!
Your Baby This Week:
Your baby weighs more than 10 ounces (.28 kg) and is slightly longer than 7 inches (17 cm), which is about the size of a large banana--but what a personality! The rapid growth phase has slowed, but organs and other body systems continue to mature. The swallowing reflex is in full swing and your baby will begin to "drink" amniotic fluid, which helps his digestive system to develop. Your baby's oil glands are also starting to produce a waxy substance known as the vernix caseosa, which soothes and protects his skin in the amniotic fluid. And the buds for permanent teeth are forming! There's no smile yet, but that'll happen sooner than you think!

Patio Is ALMOST Complete....
So we have almost completed our patio project & I couldn't not be happier about it! I love that we have added this onto our house & I love the space but like I said to do it now when we are expecting was a bit more stressful for me than I thought. I think it was for Lance as well but he hides his emotions better than I do. I can't wait to have our family & friends over soon for our first cook out!!

It's A Boy!!
We had our 20 week appointment yesterday at 2:30 and we found out at 2:47 that our little love bug is a baby boy......Brayden Lance Goodson. It was such a surreal moment when they told us the sex of the baby. Lance & I both cried & hugged each other so tightly.....I could just feel our hearts grow bigger at that moment. Brayden's heart testing went well also, he has a perfectly normal & healthy heart beat & heart blood flow. The only issue that was found yesterday is an issue with my placenta.....it appears that it is blocking my cervix & if it does not move then I will have to have a c-section since the placenta can't come before the baby does.....Dr. Hamner says that in 80% of these case the placenta gets out of the way & everything works out just fine so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I really do have my heart set on having Brayden all natural & would be completely heart broken if my pregnancy ends with a c-section.

I Just Want It To Be Tomorrow.....
I swear when it rains it pours.....I feel like if we spend 1 more penny on our house I am going to scream! I love my husband very much but when he gets an idea in his head it has to happen right now; we are almost done with the patio & now we need a new fence......I agree with him that we do need a new one because the other one which is only 2.5 years old buckled a bit the other day when he opened the back gate on the stupid thing; so what does he do he calls the guy that did a guys at work & the guy comes out yesterday to measure & give us a quote & today it has been decided that he will put up or new wonderful fence this Sunday!! I want to scream at the top of my lungs...."I just want to concentrate on the baby & baby stuff for a while!!!!!" We have our BIG U/S tomorrow & we are going to register tomorrow night after our appointment & I also want to begin decorating the nursery this weekend but I feel like we need to wait so we don't just keep spending & spending & spending.....this is going to bring me to tears! I know that these are things that are needed; our fur babies need to have a fence so that they can go out & play but our love bug on the way needs to have a beautiful room too........I am just going to throw my hands up in the air & say f*** it, we will be able to get the baby's room done no problem...we have another 20 weeks to get it all done & that is plenty of time (I am trying to convince myself of this fact, but right now it is not working).

Half Way There......
20 Weeks Along today & half way there! I can't believe it. It seems like just a few weeks ago I was trying to decide if I really needed to pee on the stick; I was only 1 day late but really wanted to do it so I did & now here we are. I can't believe that we will be finding out in 2 days the baby's sex & then in only 20 more weeks we will get to meet out little love bug. I don't think that I am every going to stop smiling; I feel such joy & am just so thankful that so far I have had a great & easy pregnancy.....God has really blessed Lance & I!

The Patio is ALMOST Done!!
So we worked on the patio this weekend & it is almost done. We got the furniture out there & it looks so awesome! We sat out there all day yesterday & into last night. With the time change we had sunlight until 8pm so it was nice to sit, talk & relax. Matt & Carrie came over & saw it...it is nice to have our friends live closer to us again!

Soooo Happy It's FRIDAY!!!
It has been one hell of a week; work has just been so crazy that by the time I get home I am exhausted! I am beginning to get full energy back but it seems like it has been wasted on work stress. Lance is actually off this whole weekend so we are looking forward to getting the patio finished & actually sitting outside & enjoying it. I am going to the circus tomorrow with my MIL & all the kids & I think I might be as excited as the kids are......I LOVE the circus!!

19 Weeks Along Today
So today I am exactly 19 weeks along & I am feeling awesome. I have been blessed to have a pretty easy pregnancy & just can't wait for my belly to really "pop" out!

Baby Movement...Maybe
we were on our way to meet the family for lunch yesterday in the snow & DH & I were just talking and all of a sudden I looked down at my belly & I could swear that I felt the baby for the 1st time. It was a flutter that I had never felt before so I got all excited & told DH about it & we were both just smiling the rest of the way there. I haven't felt anything again since then but I am hoping to start feeling our little Love Bug all the time now!! We find out in 10 days the sex of the baby & we just can't wait!
Snow
So we had snow here in GA for the first & probably only time this year....it was so beautiful outside!! We went to lunch with the family so we were out & about driving in it & although it was a bit scary it had a peaceful feeling in it; I don't know if it is because snow is white but for some reason when it snows I feel like everything is fresh & clean. The pictures above show our fur babies curled up together in front of our fire place where it was nice & warm...they love to sleep in front of that thing when it is cold outside & then Lance's truck getting snowed on.....I love snow & just wish we got it here more often!
