B's Actual BIRTHday

 On B's actual birthday we did the same that we have done since his first........presents in the morning (InnoTab) & then 

 Chuck E Cheese in the evening!!  He freaking LOVES this place but it really isn't made for the younger kids.  I think that he will really like it next year though.  He really only wants to play the games that have balls that he can throw so he plays lots of basket ball & a little skee ball.  

Trying to explain to a 3 year old that he needs & should through the ball underhand & not overhand is quite difficult & he tends to throw it in the next skee ball lane!

Colton really enjoyed himself as well until it got into his dinner time & then he only had food on the brain!

Overall I think that the birthday boy had a great time & as always Lance & I enjoyed watching him run around like a hellion from game to game only to get bored with them literally after only a few seconds.

He is growing so fast & is such a good boy.  We are finally getting him into the school system to help with his Speech Apraxia as well as his sensory issues.

It has been a lot of work so far & there is so much more to be done but the words that he is finally starting to say are music to our ears!  I'll post more about that very soon though..........

The Drill

I think that this might have been B's favorite toy from his birthday (other than the John Deere).  He walks around the whole house carrying it & "fixing" stuff.

Happy Birthday Brayden

Two years ago today we were blessed by the birth of this little guy..............

It has been the best two years of my life!!

Father's Day

The boys were both excited for Father's Day & even though Lance had to work we got to spend the morning with him & give him his presents.  I am a huge card person & love to pick out just the right one for each occasion; I am that person that stands in the card section of the store for about an hour reading all of them until I find just the right one for the person or occasion........crazy I know.

Even our pups give cards at each occasion!!

Lance loved his cards & his presents too; the boys got him an accessory for his IPad & an engraved pocket knife!  Lance loved both things but I think that Brayden loved the IPad keyboard more than Lance did since he loves anything & everything with buttons on it.

I hated that Lance had to leave for work & he did too but at least we had a great morning together & we got to spend some of the day together as a family.  The rest of the day the boys & I spent with PaPa & JuJu at Monkey Joe's; B really does have such a great  time there & e have decided that we are doing his birthday there & although I am going to miss doing all the decorations & set up that we would do if it as at the house it just isn't something I have time for this year with the baby.  I know that B (& all of the other kids) will have a great time there & I think that we will enjoy not stressing over the planning process this year BUT next year both boys will have parties at the house for sure!

Monkey Joe's

I feel like I am never going to get caught up on my blogging & it is driving me nutty!!

I have no idea how I had never heard of or knew about this place but Monkey Joe's is the BOMB (do people even say that anymore?).  A friend suggested it to me a few weeks ago so we took B 2 Sunday's ago & it was a huge hit with him.  So much so that we might just be having his 2nd birthday party there!  It took him a few minutes to warm up to it all & to actually get into the jumpy things but once he did he was a crazy man & had no fear..........unless you count the fact that he wouldn't get into any of the really big ones.

They really did have some BIG jumpy things & I could completely understand why he didn't want to get in them but I am hoping that the more we go the less fear he will have. 

Of course he had to get in & drive for a minute.

The under 3 jumpy thing was pretty cool & he played in it for about 2 hours........he slept really well that night!

Happy Birthday JuJu.........

Yesterday was her actual birthday but we celebrated last Sunday because the whole family could get together.  We had a wonderful time but I think that the kids had an even better time; it is so sweet to watch Brayden interact with his older cousins & to watch them love & include him in their games.  I of course took a ton of pictures but Lance's sister took even more & she is the one with all the talent; I am going to post some of her pictures separately since they show mine up but here is one of JuJu opening her presents.

We played out front in the yard forever & thankfully the weather was nice.

He wasn't really wanting to sit still much at all since the bigger boys were all running around!
