Our kids live & breathe to be outside..........

Our 4th of July Celebration

We spent our 4th of July with family & just relaxed & enjoyed the day.  We went over to Lance's mom & dad's house (JuJu & PaPa) for a cookout & the day was hot but the kids weren't bothered by it one bit!!  They jumped on the trampoline & played in the pool with their baby cousin for the afternoon. 

We got the boys home & after playing inside for a bit to cool off we took them outside to see what they thought of a few fireworks.  Colt LOVED them but B ran from them so we just went back in & enjoyed some playtime in the AC!!

After the boys went to bed Lance & I sat in our driveway & set a few small fireworks off for the neighborhood kids

& then it was time for the Mall of GA's show so we sat & watched the whole thing.  It was great to get to see them without having to fight the crowds & traffic!

I hope that everyone had as much fun as we did!!

The Place to Be.

We went on a play date & found a new park that the boys LOVE.  It is set up better than the one by our house because it is made for both B & Colt but not too big.  The one by our house had parts that B would get daring & venture towards but would then get scared because they were that big.

He is a little dare devil most of the time but I guess even he gets a bit frightened sometimes.

Colton always plays for a bit but then has to jump in his stroller for a pick me up snack.

This is Livi; she is a tad bit older than Colt & they are cute together when they play.

It has been A LOT to hot to be there here lately; we were going right after the boys woke up a few days but then it was even too hot then.  Maybe it's me & they really don't feel the heat but they sure look hot with their cheeks all red & hair soaked with sweat.  We will have to get back there very soon since they love it so much!!

Daddy & His Boys

A few weeks ago Lance made a job change so that he could be here with the boys & I one more day a week.  He has gone from working WAY to many hours & only being off on Wednesdays to being of on Wednesdays & Sunday & that is HUGE for our family.  Lance & I have both been stressed & of course that means fighting & bickering over stupid non important things & we both just wanted what was best for each other & mainly for the boys.  Lance took a few days off before starting his new job & the boys couldn't have been more excited about it.  They really didn't know what to do & were excited each & every day that they woke up & he was there & got to stay there to wrestle.........

The new schedule is A-MAZING & we are so happy that we get daddy home with us more often!!!!

Easter Fun in the Sun

We enjoyed such a great Easter this year; this was Colton's first Easter & it was also the first Easter that B has actually enjoyed the traditional kid fun Easter things!!  I decided to do buckets for them this year instead of baskets; I figure we can use the buckets this summer & on vacation & then maybe next year will be the year that I get them the fancy ones that we pull out every year.

I put their name on one side & their initial on the other................cute??

Colton liked the basket but LOVED the grass in the bottom more!!

  B loved his stuff too but when he realized that the bunny was chocolate he was in heaven & took the ears right off the poor little guy.

I love that Colton wanted to read his card even if he just looked at it & then tried to eat it.

We pulled out B's table & the hard boiled eggs & let B & the neighbor kids dye them.  B lacked patience when it came to leaving the eggs alone to soak up the color but he did better than I thought he would & the eggs turned out alright.

When we were done with the egg dying we moved onto the Easter Egg hunt.  B LOVED the eggs that I found that you squeeze & confetti goes every where the most.

Colton even got in on the fun & PaPa helped him find an egg or two.

We had an amazingly yummy dinner that & played outside for most of the day............it was the best Easter with the boys to date!!

I thought I would share that Lance brought me home the most beautiful tulips too............isn't he sweet!!
