We are still trying to find a lamp for Colton's Room but other than that I think that we might finally be finished & it is ready for his arrival.  Lance & I couldn't be more thrilled with how it has turned out & can't wait to have our little cowboy sleeping peacefully in it!!!

Colton's Nursery........

This past weekend we ordered Colton's furniture & cleaned out his nursery; since selling the old bedroom furniture that was in it it kind of became the catch all room.  We decided on a natural furniture for Colton & even though this picture has girlie bedding isn't it adorable??

We are doing a rustic cowboy theme in his room & because all of the colors are dark browns, reds & blues we liked the idea of lightening it up a bit via his furniture.  I am excited that we are finally getting started on his nursery & will post with more updates as we get more going..........

Making Room For Baby G #2...........

We have only been in this house for about 6 months & have been taking our time with decorating it; we finally had the spare bedroom beside Brayden almost completed when we found out that we were expecting so as pretty & as much as I loved the way this room was coming together...........we get to redecorate again & that makes me VERY happy.  This is what the room used to look like.

This is what the room now looks like now; we have thankfully already sold the bed so it is out of the house.  We have put the bench at the end of our bed & with some new cushions I think it will look great.  The candle holders are going in our formal living room but the rest of the "stuff" has no home yet so it has all been neatly (right) placed in our office.

As far as what the new baby's nursery will look like that is still undecided; the doctor said it looks like a boy & I have been feeling boy I am still going to wait until our appointment next month to start decorating.  I am of course going to start looking & planning but will be keeping that to myself until our appointment on November 23rd.

Kelly's Korner is doing the "Show Us Your Life" Fridays and I have been wanting to post pictures of our new house since we moved in months ago so I am going to join & show our work in progress!

All Brayden's friends sleep with him at night & he will wake up in the middle of the night just to turn on the aquarium!  When he gets older we are planning on putting a real on in there for him.

Soon enough we will start planning the new baby's room; most likely I will be asking for opinions before we even know the baby's sex (which by the way we will find out on November 23rd @ 10:30am)!!

Hello Weekend........

I am so happy that it is Friday & that I get to spend the next 2 days with my little man!!  Lance gets off work at 5 tonight so we will get a nice family night but then tomorrow it will just be B & I & I am so excited about that!!  Sunday we have family photos & I am kind of excited about the photos but not really because I have just started to get a cold of some sort (caught it from B) & just hope that both he & I are feeling & looking good for the photos.  I already hate photos of myself so sick photos would really suck!!

Oh yeah & I don't know if I had mentioned the fact that we are redoing B's nursery & we just bought his new bedding last night & I washed it in B's wonderful Dreft detergent (I love the smell of that stuff) so we will start getting his room re-do tonight!!  It won't be completed for a while but I will post pictures if anyone wants to see them.  We have actually set an August 7th date to have our house completely decorated & finished since that is his 1st birthday & there will be a FEW (note my sarcasm) people there!!
