Brayden's Social Calendar & Georgia's Recovery.......
So I guess it begins already & only at the age of (almost) 20 months!! Brayden has 3 birthday party's that he has been invited to in the next 3 weeks.........I mean my goodness his social life is going to be so much busier than mine ever was! I am excited that we will be so busy throughout April though because it means that before we know it we will be holding his little brother in our arms!!
In other news; Georgia had her surgery Friday & things went well but they are concerned about the damage the stones caused to her bladder. They are not sure how long they were in there but this is what they looked like;
they were over 1.5 inches each & as you can see there were 4 of them. They are thinking that the were & caused & formed because of these damn pills...........
if you are by any chance giving these to your dogs I would suggest stopping ASAP. Yes, you will have to figure out a different way to have their pee not completely kill your grass but they are NOT GOOD for your pets & in my opinion should be removed from the shelves!!!
Georgia was pretty out of it yesterday & was in so much pain (I guess) she was just peeing in her bed just because that is where she was laying; I had to keep making her get up o& switch beds so it would be too gross! She really started to come around last night though & even managed to eat her dinner; we are praying for her full recovery & that her bladder isn't going to have permanent damage but we just don't know. Here she is in all her miserableness!!
& Bella hasn't left her side since she got home Friday night. She looked for her all day Friday & seemed very confused when she did finally get home that night & all day yesterday & has tried to get her to play a few times but mostly just stays close to Georgia & made sure to check on her all throughout the day yesterday..........

Georgia Love........
She has been going back & forth to the vet for about a month now & they have finally concluded that the UTI we have been struggling to fight off with antibiotics has not gone away because (after doing x-rays Tuesday) they have found 4 rather large stones in her bladder/kidneys & the only way to get rid of stones in a dog is surgery. Please don't miss understand I am over the moon that they have finally figured out what the issue is & that she will hopefully be feeling better & back to her lazy self very soon HOWEVER our purse strings have been pulled very tight because of her past visits & now this next visit on Friday is going to cost us another $1500...............you read that right $1500 to have 4 stones removed from a bulldog & this is with PetSmart's "plan thingy" that does save us money!!
It isn't that we don't want to spend the money to get her back to her amazingly wonderful lazy self but with the current crappy economy effecting hubby's income, me being a SAHM, Colton on the way & needing to purchase the remainder of his necessities, the fact that we have already shelled out over $1000 in vet bills & the fact that we just managed to put some of our tax refund money into savings for "a rainy day".............we just didn't want the rainy day to be so soon! We love our dogs & would do anything for them but goodness gracious this is quite a large expense at a not so perfect time!!
Lance & I have prayed for that she be OK & handle the surgery without incident; we have prayed that this be the last 4 legged financial burden we endure for a while; we have prayed for guidance on how to handle the stresses we have been facing; we have prayed for a healthy baby boy to arrive in a few weeks & for a healthy little boy running around the house; we have prayed for peace on our hearts & we have prayed for so many other things so I am asking for your prayers as well. I know that people have it worse than we do right now & we are so thankful for all of the wonderful blessings in our lives but it is a rough time for us & we just want to feel some peace in our hearts & heads that everything is going to be alright & that Georgia will make it through tomorrow with flying colors!!

Forrest Gump Was Right.........
"Life is Like a Box of Chocolates; You Never Know What Your Gonna Get"
I just wish that my days & nights would stop acting like I just bite into the nastiest crappiest chocolate out of the box. Everything with B is wonderful (except for his sleeping at night); we have been enjoying the beautiful weather outside & we even had the most amazingly happy & fun day yesterday. But as far as Lance & I go, we are arguing about everything these days & on top of that Georgia (our Bulldog) went to the vet the other day & $650 later she is 74 pounds & HAS to lose weight ASAP, has a horrible double ear infection & the worst is she also has a UTI that I am about to kill her over. I know that she can't help it at the moment but she is peeing all over the place & it is driving this neat freak BANANAS!!!
It is mainly at night so it is in our bedroom & I swear no matter how fast I clean it up the smell is still there & it is only getting worse as the days go on. We took her to the vet on Tuesday so she had an antibiotic shot that day & will be on pill antibiotic for 12 days following but it hasn't kicked in yet so I am setting my alarm to get every 2 hours so I can get her up & outside to try & prevent her from peeing on my carpet BUT IT IS NOT HELPING & I am actually to the point of being in tears over it.
I am not sleeping well as it is & now this is making it even worse; all I smell is pee & all I hear all night is her moving around so I jump up to see if she needs to go out or just make her get up & go out anyway. I have had a UTI before; as I am sure many of you have; so I do understand that she can't help it but God please let her medicine kick in very soon so that I can clean my carpet with the steam cleaner (I am doing it today anyway since my pregnancy nose can't take it) & she (& I) can both get some much needed rest & stress relief. I hate to think about how uncomfortable she might be as well; she acts fine except for not eating normally but I know that she has to be in some kind of pain even if it's just a little!
As for Brayden's sleep pattern at night; it has gone into the crapper as well; I am not sure what is causing it & he is not waking really but he is crying & sometimes screaming/screeching in his sleep on top off rolling around & moving a lot. I am not sure if it teeth, growing pains, stomach issues, or what but I hate that my little boy is sleeping so horribly & not getting his much needed rest. He is still pretty much in a great mood most of the time but I can tell he is not 100% & pray that what ever it is that is causing it passes very soon.
I know that married couples go through rough patches & stress in other areas of our life can cause this & some of our fights are about nothing & mean nothing but some of them are very serious. We have to get through some stuff & I just keep praying that everything will be OK between us sooner rather than later.
I know that this post has been a bunch of bitching & complaining so I am sorry but if you can muster a prayer out for us today I would greatly appreciate it. I am tired; tired of cleaning up pee, tired of arguing with Lance, tired of not sleeping, tired of being stressed, tired of crying over just about everything (the small & big things are both getting tears these days) & would love just to be able to concentrate on all the joy that we have in our lives now.............please & thank you. I feel like I can't find the happy right now & even though I know I can't because I have only slept about 10 hours total since Monday, I just want to concentrate on my precious baby boy that I have the joy of chasing everyday & on the little guy that will be here in only 11 weeks. I want my puppy to be healthy again & give me a break with the pee & I want my relationship with my husband to return to it's regularly scheduled program & get off of the horror channel. I just want some happy & good days in the near future & don't think that is too much to ask for.
Before anyone says it or thinks it, it is not depression & it is really just stress & a lot going on in the Goodson household. Stress relief & normalcy are the answers & cures that I am seeking but I just can't find how to relieve any of it at the moment.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday & again sorry for all the itching & complaining!!

New Hat, New Puppy, & A Game of Catch........
Yet another cute & adorable hat has been purchased for our little guy & thankfully he doesn't mind wearing them anymore actually he saw it sitting on the kitchen table bench the other day & wanted to wear it in the house so who am I to tell him he can't right?? It matches the snow pants & jacket we got him from Old Navy & I can't wait for it to get cold enough again to let him go out & play in the whole outfit!
I thought he was done wearing it but..........
He just took it off to try & put it back on himself.........
This is Brayden's "new puppy"; I hope no one thought we were crazy enough to get a "real" new puppy when we already have two dogs & are expecting a new baby. He saw this little guy when we were out shopping last weekend & has not gone anywhere without it since!
The same day B decided to wear his new hat in the house the tennis ball was found & that always makes Bella very happy. She loves to play catch & B loves to play it with her. He will throw it as best he can & she is so good about bringing it back to him so he can do it again.
When he doesn't feel like throwing it anymore he will bring it to me to throw...........they are both waiting as patiently as possible here since I am holding the ball!
It is sweet how much the pups & the boy get along so well & I just hope & pray that they are as taken with Colton as they have been with Brayden. We keep joking that Georgia is just going to run, hide & never come out but are hoping that she is alright when he comes home. We really only worry because she is getting older; she will be 5 this month & for Bulldogs that is older!!

"The Head"
Some kids carry around a stuffed animal or a wooby their whole life & I always wonder what made that one thing so special?? Well, we wonder that on a daily basis with our pup Georgia because she has had this "head" since we flew her in from Arkansas. It was a toy that we picked up at Petsmart before she arrived to us at 6 weeks old & once we gave it to her she never let it go. It is old, has holes & is stinky (she sleeps with it in her mouth EVERY night); I have to sneak it when she is up during the day just to wash it & repair the holes so the stuffing that is left in it remains in it. We have tried to find another one or find something like it but she has never taken to anything other than "the head".
She kneads it like a cat when she gets into her bed at night & has never really taken it out of her bed until recently & now brings it with her to other rooms but only upstairs; "the head" is never downstairs I guess if we are down stairs she doesn't need it for some reason.............I guess?? "The head" has to travel if we travel & she HAS to have it every night before going to bed or she won't sleep; it is sad but I know this because it got lost some how one night & she was up ALL NIGHT just walking around. Thankfully I found it the next morning & she slept that whole day away with it; I think Bella hid it to be funny!!
It is precious that a 70 pound English Bulldog can be such a big baby but that is truly what she is.........our 1st baby!!

A Boy & His Dog(s).........
We have 2 wonderful dogs that love Brayden very much; we have our almost 5 year old bulldog, Georgia, & our almost 4 year old albino boxer, Bella. Brayden loves both dogs very much but he seems to want to play with Georgia more than he does Bella & unfortunately Georgia doesn't like that. She is like a grumpy old man & just wants to lay around & nap all day; don't get me wrong she will play but only when she wants to NOT the other way around.
It is so funny to watch Brayden with her; he will just start walking toward her & she will get up & move & move again & move again & move yet again & she will do this until Brayden just gives up on trying to play with her. I wish he would just go straight for Bella because she is up for playing 24/7. This dog will get up nub a wagging when I get up to pee in the middle of the night.........it is cute but can sometimes be quite annoying too.
Anyway, Bella loves Brayden & just lets him crawl all over her all the time. I am happy that the pups are so good with him & just know that they will love Baby G #2 too.

Our Fur Babies Apparently Hate Moving More Than I Do..............
Our 2 wonderful dogs are so sweet; Georgia is the calm & lazy one & Bella is the hyper spaz BUT they have both become leechy spazs since the packing has begun. I am not sure of they think we are going to leave them at this house or if they are both just confused but they are underfoot & following us around every where & it is driving me crazy. Does anyone have any ideas to help make our pups feel more secure while we go through this process??
This is what Georgia loves to do ALL the time..........

This is what Bella does when Georgia won't play & I am too busy too........

This is them late night & we are all in the family room (yes my hubby had to have beds for them in our bedroom & in the living room!!)

And I finally got a picture of Bella with Brayden; she actually laid down for more than a second!!

Any suggestions would really be appreciated; I love them to death but can't keep tripping over them since.........wait for it.........we actually might be closing on the house NEXT WEEK so we could move in a week earlier than expected. God I have a lot to do in a short period of time.

A Boy, His Dogs & School "Spring" Pictures....
Brayden had school pictures yesterday & they were their spring pictures so we had to pack a cute outfit for him to wear & I just loved this outfit when we received it. I wanted to get some pictures of him when we got home because he won't fit the outfit in spring/summer since it is a 6 month size. His teacher said that he did really well & smiled a ton (I didn't have the guts to tell her that is probably because his mommy is always snapping at him at home) so I can't wait to see how they turn out!!

Brayden has a bigger window in his room & I wanted to take some pictures with the natural light (since I read about people doing that on here) & right when I did Georgia came running over to join in the fun!! She loves her brother so much...can't you tell??

I tried to get Bella to slow down long enough to take some of her & little man BUT she would only run over lick him & run off again.......SPAZ!!
