I am soooo very tired...very, very tired & I don't really know what the deal is. Yes I am pregnant but we took it easy this weekend so I thought that I would feel better today & I actually feel worse. I know that I didn't get a good nights sleep last night but that is nothing new & I haven't eaten anything with too much salt or anything that was too heavy so WHY do I feel this way??
*****sidenote*****I did this silly website thing that shows what Brayden is going to look like!! See what you think......http://www.makemebabies.com/b/bid/baby_6_237825

Happy The Weekend Is Finally Here....
I am so happy that it is Friday & that Lance is off all weekend....he gets one 3 day weekend a month & it is nice to see him when I am actually coherent, usually he gets home around 8:30pm & I am either sleeping or half asleep waiting for him. He says that he is going to get the shelves hung in Brayden's room today & also get some stuff to help organize our bathroom with Brayden's bathing stuff.....he says that he is going to get this stuff done today while I am working & I hope that he does....I love to walk in to the house & see new stuff for our little boy. I am still struggling with the crying stuff & am hoping that it will soon pass & my mood will improve, although watching shows like Grey's Anatomy last night didn't help much at all.
Our weekend agenda looks to be pretty relaxing so far, we have a friends birthday party tomorrow night & then hopefully we can have a relaxing day at the lake on Sunday if the weather holds.....this pale body really needs some sun :)

More Baby Shower Pictures
Here are a few more pictures from my wonderful baby shower this past weekend!!
My Mom, sisters & I the night they got into town!
My SIL & MIL had these wonderful magnets & favors made for the shower!
I loved the cake & took home the part with the baby to freeze it & I will use it again for Brayden's 1st Birthday.
This is me!!

Emotional Rollercoaster.....
I have had a tearful past few days & really just want my emotions to get under control...I know that won't be happening any time soon but a girl can dream can't she?? Actually I guess I can't even dream if I am not getting any good sleep....I was up a 3am this morning......it is getting earlier & earlier every darn day! I think that everything is finally hitting me about Brayden's birth & my impending motherhood & I am really nervous, scared, excited & so many other emotions & I need Lance to be there for me through all of these emotions & lately he just hasn't been. His work is going through some major crap (he works for Chrysler, so enough said)....but still. I just need him right now & he is not there for me; he didn't even ask about Brayden once yesterday & that really got to me. He asked how I was feeling since I had the worst nights sleep so far the night before but never once asked about his son. I am trying not to over react about the whole situation since I know the stress of his job is really high right now but (especially today) but why is he not doing the same for me?? I know that he can tell that I have been down the past few days but he just can't seem to get over his own inner stress to console his pregnant wife......blah, blah, blah!! Anyway, I am just going to hope that the news announcement from Chrysler today doesn't affect his job & that we can have a great weekend together since he is off Friday, Saturday & Sunday which only happens once a month!!

What To Do....
Lance & have been talking about it for a while now & we have decided that me going back to work after Bryaden is born doesn't make too much sense because of the cost of daycare; so I have to talk to my boss about maybe working from home for a while after Brayden's arrival & I am just trying to think of the best way to approach it. My job can be done from home pretty easily & I would come into the office for at least 1 full day a week since Lance has a day off during the week each week. They would just have to set up our home computer with all of the programs that we use here & they would have to hire a receptionist since I took over that position & a few others when we had to make some lay offs & I hope that, that doesn't play too big of a roll in their decision. My plan would be to come in every morning & pick all the new stuff that I have to do & drop off all of the paperwork that I completed the day before........sounds easy enough to me I just hope that they go for it. My only fear is that once I talk to them about it they say no & then don't let me finish out working before he arrives; my bosses (I work for a wonderful married couple) are awesome & I can't see that happening but you never know sometimes what will set people off. I have to get up the nerve to talk to J by next week....say a prayer for me!

I Forgot Brayden Changed Produce Sizes This Week!
Weeks 29-32 (Month 7): Squash

Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you've also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments.

29 Weeks Today & Time Is Flying By Now
How far along? 29 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 22 lbs.
Maternity clothes? yep
Stretch marks? nope....so far but there is still time!
Sleep: getting harder & harder for me to get comfortable so sleep is becoming more of an issue
Best moment this week: my mom getting to hear Bryaden's heartbeat & my baby shower
Movement: he is very active & loves to play with his little feet
Food cravings: cereal
Gender: BOY
Labor Signs: braxton hicks have begun
Belly Button in or out? half of it is popping sticking out but it still looks like it is going to flatten out completely
What I miss: sushi
What I am looking forward to: going through all of the gifts we received this week & putting them away in his room
Weekly Wisdom: don't wish away the time that you have with your baby now; once they are here time will fly by & they will be grown before you know it!!
Milestones: passed my 1 hour glucose test!!
What is going on with your baby during week 29?
You are now ¾ of the way through your pregnancy and only 11 weeks are left before you meet your newborn. This is of course assuming that you give birth in the target period. You will also be stressed about varicose veins, skin rashes, and hemorrhoids, which are typical in the later months of pregnancy. At this point of pregnancy, your baby's hearing is already keenly developed. Baby may be startled by loud sounds (although there is a gap between the startling noise and your baby's reaction). Some of the sounds your baby is getting accustomed to (since it hears them on a regular basis) and in fact finds them comforting are the pounding of your heart, your digestive system, the rushing of blood. These sounds have been likened to a washing machine or dishwasher at work by scientists. It is no wonder that babies exposed to such 'white noises' can be lulled back to sleep as these sounds are familiar. Your baby is now able to hear your voice and the voices of other family members and even make a distinction. Brayden's full length is 17 & weighs in at 2 lbs 7 ozs. His eyes are becoming more sensitive and might be able to notice when you are sitting in the sun or reading by a bright light. As baby grows, conditions in the uterus become a little cramped, so there isn't quite as much room to kick those tiny legs or wave those teeny arms. Therefore, you may feel a little less movement now, but that's normal.

Mother's Day Weekend Recap
I guess I should start with my doctor's appointment on Thursday afternoon....it went as so well. I am not going to have to have a scheduled c-section because my placenta has moved completely out of the way & that was the best news that I could have received that day but then the appointment got better because we got new pictures of Baby Brayden & I swear from the ultrasound pictures he is going to look just like his daddy. He has his facial features already!!

He apparently loves to play with his little feet; he was doing it the whole time they were checking his lung growth progress & it was so adorable! His lungs & heart look so good that we don't have to go back to the specialist anymore...WOO HOO!!! That night my family came in from Virginia for my 1st baby shower; they got here about 6 that night & we just relaxed & Lance & I made them our famous steak, chicken & shrimp fajitas....it was so nice to have everyone for a visit!
Mom & I got up on Friday morning & went to my normal 28 week check up appointment & she was so excited to hear Brayden's heartbeat; of course she cried which in turn made me cry but it was so awesome to have her there! I also had my 1 hour glucose test that day & past it with flying colors; I am a bit anemic but don't have to take the supplements which I am happy about I just have to eat more iron enriched foods! Also, I didn't gain any weight so the doctor gave me a bit of a funny look about that but I just told her I cut out my snacking since I was given a hard time about too much weight the last time....I mean really make up your damn minds people....it is so frustrating!! Anyway we were going to head to the lake that day but the weather was gross so we just did some running around & watched movies all day.
Saturday was the big day....My 1st Baby Shower!!! I had such a wonderful time & Brayden got soooo much stuff. I do have to say that our house seemed to get really small once we brought everything in from the cars. I have a few pictures posted here but haven't downloaded them all so I will post the more later..JPG)
.JPG)

Sunday was mother's day & it was such a wonderful day. I got flowers & cards for my mom & sister & put them in their rooms before they got there so they could enjoy them while they were in town & Lance got me a big balloon, card, flowers & a cute teddy bear for my mommy to be day! I know that some don't really celebrate the day yet but I already feel like a mom to Baby Brayden so I am happy that Lance celebrated that with me..JPG)

I got up that morning & made a big breakfast for everyone before they had to get on the road & then once they got packed up & headed up Lance & I got ready & headed up to the lake for a nice relaxing day. It was so beautiful & the lake has filled up so much (the drought last year really affected the lakes water level). We only stayed up there a few hours because we were exhausted from the weekend but it was such a good time! We got home showered & relaxed the rest of the night....of course it was belly picture night so here is what I am looking like these days!!

Doctor's Appt Today & I Am Very Nervous About It!
At 11:00 this morning I have a doctors appointment with Dr. Hamner & I am just praying that all goes well!! On the up side of the appointment I will get to see Brayden again since I have to get an ultrasound today but on the down side Lance won't be able to make it to this appointment because of work & today I will find out if my placenta has moved out of the way or if I have to schedule a c-section. I have been reading about placenta previa & I am so scared that it hasn't moved & my birth plan will be thrown out the window; I mean of course I want to make sure that Brayden arrives into the world safely but I DO NOT want to be cut open at all; plus with Lance not being able to make it to the appointment I will have to hear the news alone....PLEASE GOD LET IT BE GOOD NEWS!! I have prayed about this since they told me I had the issue & all I can do now is hope that my natural childbirth plan is also God's plan......I will update after my appointment.
Here is a summary about placenta previa (just a note my placenta is completly covering my cervix) -
What is placenta previa?
If you have placenta previa, it means that your placenta is lying unusually low in your uterus, next to or covering your cervix. The placenta is the pancake-shaped organ — normally located near the top of the uterus — that supplies your baby with nutrients through the umbilical cord. Placenta previa is not usually a problem early in pregnancy. But if it persists into later pregnancy, it can cause bleeding, which may require you to deliver early and can lead to other complications. If you have placenta previa when it's time to deliver your baby, you'll need to have a c-section. If the placenta covers the cervix completely, it's called a complete or total previa. If it's right on the border of the cervix, it's called a marginal previa. (You may also hear the term "partial previa," which refers to a placenta that covers part of the cervical opening once the cervix starts to dilate.) If the edge of the placenta is within 2 centimeters of the cervix but not bordering it, it's called a low-lying placenta. The location of your placenta will be checked during your midpregnancy ultrasound exam.
On another good note though, my family is arriving today for my baby shower on Saturday & I can't wait to see everyone. I am exhausted from deep cleaning the house for the past week but it is all so worth it to have my mother & sisters at my baby shower on Saturday....& dad is coming too but he will be enjoying some rest time while we are at the shower & Lance is at work on Saturday & hopefully the weather will be nice tomorrow & we can take them up to the lake since they have never been out on our old boat let alone our new one.

Ready For Thursday!!
I know that most people say that they are ready for Friday but my parents & sisters get here on Thursday & I can't wait to see them. They haven't seen me since Christmas so a lot has changed since then. They are coming for my baby shower that my SIL is throwing for me.....I am so excited to celebrate Brayden with all of our family, PLUS who doesn't love presents especially little ones for a precious little boy?? I have been really good & have not checked my registry since the invites went out since I really do want to be surprised but I do have to admit that I have been tempted a few times :)
Yesterday was such a hard day for me; I was emotional & upset about everything that happened all day. It didn't help that Lance is planning a bachelor party for our good friend Matt & the stripper word was mentioned & got me all fired up. I swear I do NOT understand this "right of passage" that men think they deserve to take before they get married. Personally I would never go to my soon to be husband & tell him that I am going to look at naked men before we get married. I am not knocking anyone that did do that, I am just stating my opinion for my relationship. I am not thrilled by the fact that it looks like they are choosing to rent a house boat at the lake for a whole weekend instead of just going out for a night like normal people & then to hear that they might have strippers come to that houseboat makes me really upset.....the girls that come to you house or hotel are a totally different type of "stripper" to me they are hookers because for just a bit more money they do A LOT more. I think that it is very disrespectful of all of these men not just my husband to think that this is alright; maybe some don't want to be a part of the stripper part but who will say that out loud & get hazed by the ones that do.....I don't know. What I do know though is I don't want out hard earned money going towards (pardon me) my husband seeing some strange woman's tits & ass! I have told Lance how I feel about the whole thing & he asked me for a solution & I really don't have one. This is not Lance's bachelor party & Lance didn't bring up getting the strippers another guy that is coming did so what is Lance supposed to say??
I think that certain situations you might put yourself in can only end badly & I think that this is one of those situations for sure! I hate this feeling & just want it to go away...what do I do??

28 Weeks Today....
& only 84 days to go....WOW how time is flying by!!
Your Baby This Week
It's official! You're in the last trimester of your pregnancy and you're edging closer to the big day with each passing week. Your baby is growing--and wow--so are you! Your little angel is still little, between 2 and 2.5 pounds (0.9 to 1.1 kg) and 15 to 16 inches (38 to 40 cm) long. Your baby is actually a little "chubbier" than before. That's because the number of fat cells he has is increasing, filling out the skin from underneath. Eyebrows and eyelashes are also growing, and the hair on his head is getting longer. This is also an important time for your baby's brain development.
How far along? 28 weeks today
Total weight gain/loss: I have gained 23 lbs
Maternity clothes? Oh yeah, but have found some non-maternity dresses & long skirts that fit as well & are really comfy!
Stretch marks? none yet & I am keeping my fingers crossed that none pop up
Sleep: I don't really know what this word "sleep" is....
Best moment this week: going shopping this past Sunday with Lance & my MIL...she bought me maternity clothes & it was so sweet.
Movement: he is a very active little boy & I love feeling him; plus we can see him a lot better now
Food cravings: chocolate...chocolate...chocolate. I have to get my sugar craving under control before I blow up like a balloon
Gender: BOY
Labor Signs: NONE
Belly Button in or out? it is flat except for the left side which is sticking out a little bit
What I miss: sleep
What I am looking forward to: I have 2 doctors appointments this week; one on Thursday to check my placenta (which means an ultrasound so we get to see our little love bug) & then my normal check up on Friday & my mom will actually be in town so she will get to hear Brayden's little heartbeat for the first time.
Weekly Wisdom: Don't sweat the small stuff....life is too short!
Milestones: I guess I would have to say seeing Brayden moving in my belly; it is amazing to watch him go

27 Week Belly Photos
Weekend Review....
Let's see....Friday I left work & had to run home really quick so that I could let the furbabies out before I had to be at the salon to get my hair done at 6 & wow what a difference a few touch up highlights does for a woman. I fell so much better now that that has been done Lance met me there & got a haircut as well & then we went to Chili's for dinner & I swore I was going to have a salad but I in fact had a appetizer sampler which had nothing but yummy fried foods on it.....oh well!
As I said in the previous post Saturday I had my nail & toe appt. at 9:30 which was awesome but then had so many other errands to do that by the time I got home I was exhausted but still did the house work that I needed to get done so GO ME. I have a bunch to do each night this week before my family arrives from VA Beach on Thursday evening but I can do it I am sure of it! Lance & I just had a nice relaxing evening at home that night which is always nice.....again I swore I was going to eat a healthy dinner (chicken salad) but we were sitting there & the door bell rang & it was the Papa John's delivery man; he had the wrong address so we sent him away only to call in our own order & enjoy yummy chicken & cheese pizza & chicken strips. Again, OH WELL!!
Sunday was a great day for me but unfortunately Lance was having a day....they happen to all of us but I hate when they happen to him because I feel helpless. We did run some more errands & went out shopping & to lunch with his momma. We had yummy Chinese food & (**NOTE TO SELF**) for once I did not swell from it & I think it was because I had steamed rice & not fried rice. We got a ceiling fan for our spare bedroom, I got some cute maternity shirts & some more stuff for around the house. We stopped by blockbuster on the way home & got movies & of course candy, got home settled in & watched "The Day The Earth Stood Still" with Keanu Reeves & it was alright but I expected more & then I don't know why I did this to myself but we put in "Marley & Me" & oh my goodness, I cried & cried & cried. It was such an awesome movie....but it made me think about, appreciate & thank God for all of our blessing; especially our wonderful furbabies Bella & Georgia. They really do mean the world to us & we made sure to give them extra love last night before bed!! Lance & I cuddled before bed last night which we hadn't done in such a long time & I have to say that being in his arms has been something I have missed & will not let my snoggle pillow keep me from it or him anymore. We took our Sunday belly pictures last night but I have to upload them from the camera tonight when I get home so to be continued .....

Errand Day....
So every Saturday is my day to clean the house & run all the errands that I have written down over the past week. So today I have gone to the grocery store, Sam's, got my nails & toes done, to Walmart, Target, the bank & I am now home & really tired! I had another really bad nights sleep; I have the same leg cramp that I had the night before & so now I want to put off the house work & rest a bit......the only thing that sucks about that is my parents & sisters are going to be here on Thursday (my mom & sisters are coming for my baby shower next weekend) & Lance I are real spazs about the way the house looks when we have guests. I know that they are family but our house still has to be perfect..it is just the way that we are. So I keep trying to decide if I want to just do a good bit of it today or do I just do a little of it each night until they get here?????
What to do....

Thank God It Is Friday...
I had the worst nights sleep so far last night! I kept getting these horrible calf cramps; I would literally shoot up in bed from a dead sleep & then of course once awake I couldn't fall back to sleep right away....but then right when I would start to doze off there would be another one & they were worse than normal. One was so bad that it made my foot cramp & turn funny & it lasted for what seemed like an hour but I guess it was only about 5 minutes. I wish that I could go home & rest after work but I have a hair appt. at 6 & I can't miss it; I have had to reschedule twice already & my roots are awful, plus I love the guy that does my hair so much & can't wait to see him & his assistant. I just hope that I don't fall asleep while I am in his chair...that would be too funny!
