B's Actual BIRTHday

 On B's actual birthday we did the same that we have done since his first........presents in the morning (InnoTab) & then 

 Chuck E Cheese in the evening!!  He freaking LOVES this place but it really isn't made for the younger kids.  I think that he will really like it next year though.  He really only wants to play the games that have balls that he can throw so he plays lots of basket ball & a little skee ball.  

Trying to explain to a 3 year old that he needs & should through the ball underhand & not overhand is quite difficult & he tends to throw it in the next skee ball lane!

Colton really enjoyed himself as well until it got into his dinner time & then he only had food on the brain!

Overall I think that the birthday boy had a great time & as always Lance & I enjoyed watching him run around like a hellion from game to game only to get bored with them literally after only a few seconds.

He is growing so fast & is such a good boy.  We are finally getting him into the school system to help with his Speech Apraxia as well as his sensory issues.

It has been a lot of work so far & there is so much more to be done but the words that he is finally starting to say are music to our ears!  I'll post more about that very soon though..........

Chuck E Cheese Birthday Fun

 This is the last post regarding Colton turning one I promise..............

I took some photos of him on his actual birthday; he enjoyed his first ever cupcake & LOVED it.  I am not sure why he now doesn't like them but at least I got great photos that day right??

I of course had to snap some of this handsome little guy too...........

And then we were off to Chuck E Cheese for some fun & games.  We have taken Brayden for both of his birthdays so we are going to make sure Colton goes on his too.  They are both a bit young for most of the stuff there (in my opinion) but there are things that they both enjoy so it was fun!

My dad even got in on the fun............... 

& everyone played at once at one point!!  We had a blast celebrating Colton turning one & I know that he may not remember the festivities but when he looks back at pictures he'll know that he did & more over that he was surrounded by everyone that loves him!! 

Now I have to get ready for Brayden's 3rd birthday coming up...................ARRRRRR; it a Pirate Party!!

Brayden's Birthday @ Chuck E Cheese.......

When I posted Brayden's 12 month pictures here I mentioned that he wasn't feeling well but that didn't stop him from enjoying his 1st ever Chuck E Cheese birthday experience later that evening.  My family drove in from VA Beach that afternoon so we went up to Chuck E Cheese so that we could celebrate Brayden's birthday but also so that my nephews could have some fun after being in the car for 9 hours!

Brayden fell in love with the slide & was not afraid of the animatronic Chuck E. at all; he was however a little unsure of the real one that came out later in the evening.  He loved to ride all the little cars they had for the toddlers & walked around like he owned the place.  We all ate way to much junk food but had a great time celebrating the birth of Brayden Lance Goodson!!

I have not forgotten to post his stats BUT what I did forget is to make his 1 year appointment way in advance since all the school kids had to get their shots before starting this school year...........his appointment is August 19th!!
