Babies, Babies, Babies ;

I feel like we have so many wonderful blessings going on around us & the 2 best that have happened in the past 2 weeks have been the births of these precious little ones..........

Olivia Cecile; born 2/11/11

Jones Mackenzie; born 2/22/11 

Both of the babies, mommy's & daddy's are healthy & doing well.  I was shocked at how 

tiny they both seemed compared to when B was born though; he only weighed 8.04 lbs. but I feel like he was huge compared to a 6.14 lb Olivia & a 7.9 lb. Jones.  I guess a pound or two on something that tiny really makes that much of a difference.  Brayden & Colton are going to be the best of friends with Jones & Olivia; I just know it!!

Holding both babies made me want to have our latest addition here in my arms even more but we are sooooo not ready yet!!  I have been stressing out this past weekend on exactly what is left to be done in the nursery & purchased all together.  I feel like we are never going to get it done & hate that it is all already not done like it was when we were expecting B.  We have been going & going & going it seems with so many other projects that his nursery & necessities have been forgotten, pushed aside,  just not taken care of.  We of course have not & do not ever forget about what he is going to need (which is everything) but I guess we are just in the mind set that he will be late like his brother & we have plenty of time to get things wrapped up.

Well I am done living in that reality because what if he does arrive early; I would rather be over prepared than under so in the next few weeks I am going to make it my goal to get his nursery in order, organized & to try to get all the basic necessities that we will need for his precious arrival.  His bedding arrived yesterday & I am in the process of washing it all so I can check that off my list............now I just have to go purchase his mattress so that I can make his bed.  So much to do............

Superbowl Sunday.........

I was so happy when I checked the weather forecast for Sunday because it said that it was finally going to be nice enough to take B to the park that afternoon.  It has either been too cold or raining for what seems like ever that I think I just wanted to get out & play in the nice weather myself.

Lance had some errands & things to take care of that morning so B & I spent the morning in our pj's (which I always enjoy) & then we had plans to go to the park, dinner with JuJu & PaPa & then to a friends house to watch Superbowl.

The park was amazing & B hadn't been in so long that he played forever; I think we were there for almost 2 hours just running around.

He loved this little car. 

& we ran into a little boy from his daycare class. 

The slide is always a big hit............ 

He carried this balloon around almost the whole entire time we were there.  He got it the Friday before & it was in my car still & when he say it & said "ba-oon" I of course gave it to him thinking he would just play with it for a second but I was of course wrong. 

He loved daddy bouncing him on the bridge............. 

& played with a little girl on the see-saw.......... 

then back to the bridge............. 

When we finally left we thought that it would be a good time to go eat since he had played so hard & he might actually sit, color & eat for a little while..........we were wrong he seemed to actually have more energy than normal.

I really had no interest in the Superbowl this year since my Giants didn't make it, Lance's Colt's didn't make it, my dad's Bears didn't even make it (but they got further than we did) & the Falcon's didn't even make it.  I was as always looking forward to the commericals & half time show but the game I could have cared less about.  It was nice to see our friends Meg's & Justin; they are due February 26th & we are so excited to meet little Jones!!

We of course couldn't stay to long because little guy had such a big day that he was ready for bath & bed around 7:30 so we headed home then.  We got to spend a few hours with our friends & they will of course understand a little one ruling the roost in only a few weeks time.

We of course took B's DVD player so that he would be entertained for as long as possible with the Imagination Movers.

They have 2 Boston Terrier's; Rudy & Sooie & B LOVED them. 

It was a great way to end the weekend & get ready for another busy week.  Hope you all had a great weekend & congrats to any Green Bay fans out there on the win.

Always Playing Catch Up.........

That is how I feel; I was finally getting caught up on everything after being sick & then my family got here & Brayden's 1st Birthday happened & then his party happened & now I am WAY behind on everything again so I am going to back track just a little.

July 31st we had a couples shower that we attended for a our friends that are getting married on August 14th (this Saturday).  Lance worked with Justin before we met & then when we started dating we all became the best of friends.  Sadly we have had 2 big falling outs & the last one was pretty bad so they were not apart of my pregnancy or Brayden's birth at all & I was sad about that the whole time I was pregnant.  We are talking again & it is so great & we missed them so much but because of the falling out Lance & I are not really a part of their wedding & that again makes me sad.............Meghan was there for me & even put my veil in my hair the day I became Mrs. Goodson & I just wish I was there for her too.  I know that this is selfish of me & that is why I haven't expressed any of these feelings to her; I have told Lance & he has told me that he is upset too but we just have to be happy for them & pray that we will once again be friends like we used to be.

I know that they are going to be a very happy couple I mean look at the way she is looking at him.........that is love with a capital L!!

The party was on a house boat & this was the night sky.............

They played games & the night was just wonderful; she is going to be a stunning bride & he will be a very dashing groom...........

& Lance & I just wish them the best & all the happiness in the world!
