Dr. Oz Says.....

Did you know that Dr. Oz suggests that you "Reboot your body by cleansing it. A cleanse is designed to give you the key nutrients your body needs while stimulating and detoxing your organs." As a mother of 2 I have no time or patience to "juice"; besides I have heard that juicing is very mess & gets quite expensive.  I am happy that I have been taking Greens though because they are a detox ready to go; you just add them to some juice, shake & drink & you are on your way to a healthier more energetic you!!  An added bonus is they have 38 herbs & nutrient rich "superfoods". they alkalize your body (so your immune system gets a super charge), they promote pH balance, &  one drink is the equivalent of 8+ servings of fruits & vegetables..........can't go wrong with any of this can you??  Personally I think that the Greens are the best of both worlds; I get the same things that Dr. Oz puts in his "juiced" drink without the hassle and mess!! Feeling like a million bucks is easy!

If you think that this is something that you would like to try out just go to my Facebook page, like it, leave a comment there that you did so & I will mail you a FREE sample of the Greens!!  It's that simple!!

Brayden's Is Starting Pre-School

I am almost in tears as I type this but it is what is best for him!!  I know that most 3 year old children start preschool & it is normal BUT B is starting in the actual school system!!  If you read my blog you probably know that B has been seeing a speech therapist for almost a year now & he was diagnosed with motor planning apraxia  & therefore has had a very difficult time communicating verbally.

Lance & I were concerned for a while when he was younger (1-1.5 years old) because he wasn't babbling or trying to talk to us; he was just mainly pointing to get what he wanted.  We spoke to his peditrition about it & he just told us that sometimes it just takes kids longer to speak & especially boys.  We listened & took what he said as what it was BUT we just knew that something was off.  As he got closer to turning 2 he was still just pointing & at this point he was beginning to throw fits & tantrums all the time.  We thought it was the terrible 2 come early BUT we later learned that he was & still is just very frustrated that we don't know what he is trying to tell us so he wasn't ever really getting what he wanted.  It was becoming harder & harder to get through the days because he was always upset about one thing or another & as a family the tension was becoming very bad.

As a mother I knew something wasn't right so at his 2 year check up we spoke to his doctor again but again we were told that sometimes it takes boys longer to talk................not listening to that this time we started B in speech therapy & eventually he started occupational therapy as well.  He started in October of 2011 & when he was approaching his 3rd birthday they told us that B could get evaluated by the school system for a special needs pre school program.  I was elated to hear that he was possibly going to get more help that speech a half an hour a week & OT for an hour BUT I was saddened too.  I was sad that our little guy was having to struggle so hard to do what came natural to so many other kids around him.

It was quite a process; there was the initial evaluation that B rocked (mommy was a wreck though), then there was the acceptance meeting & then came the IEP (Individualized Education Program) meeting which basically outlined B's personalized plan for the school year.  At each of these meetings I cried & I still cry daily about it.  I love my son & will do anything for him & this is what is going to help him tremendously BUT he is only 3 & he is going to be in the big boy school 5 days a week starting September 17th.  My big boy is really going to be a big boy & as happy as I am, I am also overcome with other emotions as well.

B will attend a county special needs pre-K program 5 days a week...........my 3 year old is starting school 2 years early & this mommy is struggling to wrap my head around that.  He is going to get the speech & OT help that he needs & he is going to get this developmental delay under control ASAP; but he is my baby & I am going to miss him.  I hate that he gets so frustrated so often, I hate that he gets stressed when there are too many people in a room, I hate that he has mini panic attacks for so many reasons, I hate that he looks at me & ou comes some babble & I don't understand him, I hate that at 3 years old he is struggling so hard to just get through the day...............I hate to watch my little guys day to day issue BUT am so happy that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Don't get me wrong he has come leaps & bounds from where he was a year ago & he is conquering new words daily but we are still so far from the "normal" vocabulary & have a lot of work to do.  I am proud of him for trying each & every day & for being such a trooper; he has no idea that I worry so much for & about  him & that I would do anything for him.  He has no idea how much he is loved & I just pray that a year from now all of his stress & frustration is gone & he can be the happy little boy that he wants to be.  It is so hard to watch his smiles turn into fear or frustration so often.  We have a long road ahead of us & I am sure that it is going to have its bump but I really feel in my heart that we are on the right road & heading down the right path!!!

Changing My Life.........

I have now been with It Works! for almost 2 months & I have already hit my 2nd promotion (Ruby) & am so close to hitting my 3rd (Emerald).  I am enjoying being back to work again BUT I think that I enjoy it even more because I am able to be home with the boys as well.  I am sure that some of you roll your eyes at things like this (& that is perfectly fine with me) but as far as I see it, it is no different than any other job that you have to self promote for.  Some of you promote your photography, some of you promote your Etsy business, some of you promote your craftiness so I am promoting It Works! & am proud to do it!

I am getting out of it what I am putting into it so it is fun & exciting & honestly I LOVE all of the amazing ladies that I have met & am meeting along the way.  The $99 that I spent to get started with It Works is leading me down a path & at the end of that path is a financial freedom that I never thought possible!  The products work & I know this because I take many of them everyday; I wonder some days how I ever functioned without them.  All of the products/supplements are all natural & have made me feel revitalized & refreshed as well as making me look a little better too!!

If you have questions ask me about it.  Ask me about joining my team for only $99; this offer ends August 31 (& so does the $10,000 bonus).  Ask me how to get the lowest prices possible by becoming a loyal customer & what that means for you.  Ask me if you can try just one wrap..........because YES you can.  If you are curious about anything having to do with this company or what it has to offer you just ask me & I'll tell you.

Visit my website to see all of our products & visit Skinny Wrap Rock Stars to see before & after photos & videos.

B's Actual BIRTHday

On B's actual birthday we did the same that we have done since his first........presents in the morning (InnoTab) & then

Chuck E Cheese in the evening!!  He freaking LOVES this place but it really isn't made for the younger kids.  I think that he will really like it next year though.  He really only wants to play the games that have balls that he can throw so he plays lots of basket ball & a little skee ball.

Trying to explain to a 3 year old that he needs & should through the ball underhand & not overhand is quite difficult & he tends to throw it in the next skee ball lane!

Colton really enjoyed himself as well until it got into his dinner time & then he only had food on the brain!

Overall I think that the birthday boy had a great time & as always Lance & I enjoyed watching him run around like a hellion from game to game only to get bored with them literally after only a few seconds.

He is growing so fast & is such a good boy.  We are finally getting him into the school system to help with his Speech Apraxia as well as his sensory issues.

It has been a lot of work so far & there is so much more to be done but the words that he is finally starting to say are music to our ears!  I'll post more about that very soon though..........

Contact me if you are interested in joining my team;
believe me you will not be disappointed with the income potential!!

Check It Out........

It Works In Review!!
I asked Being Frugal & Making It Work to review the wrap & this is what she had to  say..............

It Works! Ultimate Body Wrap - Tighten, Firm & Tone!

Whenever I hear promises of weight loss products claiming to help you quickly and easily lose weight, I'm always skeptical.  If it were really as simple as taking a pill everyday, we all would be skinny with perfect hair and dark tans - just like the people in all the ads and commercials.  Right?  The same thoughts crossed my mind when I first heard about It Works! body wraps,  beauty and wellness products.

As the months have passed, I keep hearing more and more people raving about the effects and results of using the It Works! products - especially their ultimate body applicator (AKA body wrap).  With all the hype, I simply had to try their product for myself.

I immediately knew that I wanted to try the It Works! Body Wrap.  I only had one dilemma... stomach or thighs, which trouble area was I going to wrap in hopes of getting amazing results?  Being a mother of two wonderful children, and two c-sections, I decided that my stomach was in need of the most attention.

The It Works! Ultimate Body Applicator:

This body-slimming applicator is infused with an all-natural botanical formula that is absorbed through the skin. It is designed to tighten, firm, and tone our skin. Also works as an anti-inflammatory and improves cellulite, stretch marks, and over-all skin appearance.

The applicator is worn for a minimum of 45 minutes and actually continues to process for 72 hours after it is removed. Everybody’s skin processes differently. Some medications store in your cells for a long time and it may take longer to process.

This is a healthy cleanse for your body. You are actually feeding your body something healthy, and that's a great thing!

I'll admit that I wasn't sure what to expect as I took my before measurements and applied the wrap to my stomach.  Almost immediately I felt this warm, tingly sensation under the wrapped area - very weird!  Did that mean it was working?

45 minutes after the initial wrap, I had already lost 2 inches.  Wow, It Works!  I couldn't wait to see what my 72 hour results were going to be... an additional inch, for a total loss of 3 inches.  I could get used to this!

I'd love to wrap my stomach a few more times to maximize my results.   I'd also love to wrap my inner thighs in hopes of them no longer rubbing together.  I'd still be ME just with a tighter, firmer and more toned tummy! Something that I have been dreaming of for years.

Whether you decide to become a one-time customer, loyal customer or a distributor - you're going to be amazed with the results!   Did you know that businesses (gyms, tanning salons, hair salons, nail salons, etc.) can be distributors as well?

As a loyal customer you receive:

Exclusive Prices: Save 20-50% off all your orders
Automated Monthly Shipments: Never run out of your favorite products
Easy Customization:Mix and match to create a package with all the products you want
Loyal Customer Pricing for Life: After 3 consecutive months on the auto-ship service

It Works! - It REALLY Works!

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary It Works! body wrap from Mitzi, an independent It Works! distributor for the purpose of writing a review.  Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and/or believe will be a good fit for my readers.  The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own.  Results may vary. No monetary compensation was received

15 Month Old Colt

I don't know where the time is going but this little guy is getting so big so fast; he is growing up faster than B did that's for sure!!  He celebrated his 15 month milestone August 3rd (B's birthday) & I think that he thinks he is the one that turned 3.  He is defiantly getting to big for his britches!!  He is mister independent & wants to do everything on his own...........until he does, gets hurt & then wants mommy.  He is a momma's boy for sure; he used to be a daddy's boy but I secretly whispered in his ear that I was cooler & he finally listened.

He is in 18 month clothes but is pushing the limits on those, he is in size 4-5 shoes, he has a million teeth coming in (which are making him VERY moody), he sleeps like a champ most nights & eats like a pig!!  The kids sees food & wants it; his belly literally sticks out by the end of the day from eating; it is the cutest thing.  He is in the 98% for height & his weight & head are both average; I said this with Brayden too but his daddy is very happy that they have my height & has both of their football futures with UGA planned out.

Colt is into EVERYTHING.  We have moved the trash can into the pantry & have to make sure that door stays closed or else he'll get into it & pull out food to eat all day.  He gets into the stuff under the sink in the bathroom (which is just shampoo, towels, & TP) so that door stays shut & so does the spare bedroom door down stairs since he likes to grab the candles off of the night stand.  No is a word he says & he knows the meaning of but he does not listen too AT ALL.  He is very strong willed & wants what he wants & if he doesn't get what he wants he is already doing the "throw myself on the floor" temper tantrums.  I am afraid for our lives as he gets older!!

He is very attached to his little Mickey Mouse & blankie & likes to have them in his little chair downstairs.  He loves to be outside & loves to wear his crocs; he will grab them & hand them to me right when we walk into the garage & sit right down so I can quickly put them on.  His new drink love is a juice box & want to drink them all the time but he squeezes them of course so he can't hold them just yet.  He is jabbering up a storm & had a great vocabulary in the works but his favorite word is "baby".  That is what B calls him so he points at things that he wants & says "baby"; he says it for anything & everything & it is the CUTEST thing in the world to me.

Colton you are a little stinker but you are our little stinker & we love you more than you can ever know.  Watching you grow, progress, & change is amazing & even though we'd like for you to also be the baby you are now our little big toddler & you are amazing!  You are pure joy & laughter, your smile lights up a room & fills your momma's heart with love.  You are perfect & we love you always!!

Brayden's 3rd Birthday Party

So this big guy turned 3 on August 3 & then we had a big ol' pirate party for him that Sunday.  It was a blast for all of us I think & this years party came together a lot easier than his 1st & even Colton's 1st!!  I think the easy party was because we decided to order pizza instead if cooking out or making anything at the house plus the water slide was a hit & all the kids were consumed with it the whole afternoon.

I made a few signs to put out in the yard, around the house & on the candy/cake table in the house.  We made a plank for the kids to walk & also had a little buried treasure dig for them.

The cake turned out better than I could have ever imagined & it defiantly made the table look AMAZING!! I stuck with the pirate theme for the snacks & candy & had things like Whoppers for cannon balls, popcorn for pirates teeth & gold fish for the "catch o' the day.  It was pretty cute if I do say so myself.  I made the pirate ships below for the kids to carry their snacks around in.

Thank you bags were quick & easy this year as well; just a few stamps & some brown paper bags & voila.  Thank you bags that all the kids stuffed full of yummy goodness as they left; plus there were some other Jake & the Neverland pirate stuff in there too.  It was very hard to find Jake stuff so the party had a few things here & there but really turned into plain o'l pirate party.............but B didn't seem to mind one bit!

We had a kiddy pool set up for the smaller kids to play in & the pirate swords were a big hit too.

B never actually climbed up the stairs to slide down the water slide but he had a good time playing in that thing for 3 hours straight!!

It was such a great day & one of our friends little girls kept saying that she was coming back to Brayden's house for sure!!  That makes a whole party worth it doesn't it?  The smiles & laughter of all the kids while they run around like chickens with their head cut off!!

How am I going top this one next year???  I have no idea but it is a good thing that they only have 1 birthday a year; we were all so tired after this one!!

Demi Moore uses the It Works! facial wraps; want to try one??
