It's going better than I thought it would when we first started & although B is still not using it very often he sits there every 2 hours & is using it more & more as the days go by. He actually likes to sit down & pee out of the potty if you must know. Even though it is quite annoying to watch him pull his pee pee out of the potty on purpose & do this I guess we are just one step closer to him doing it in the potty............RIGHT??

ReplyDeleteHave you heard of the trick for little boys potty training with standing up & putting a cheerio in the potty for him to aim at? I don't have boys obviously, but I've heard it's a fun way of getting them to want to pee in the toilet!

ReplyDeleteIts good to know that he pulls it out of the potty. We just started a potty seat about a week ago and Cooper pee'd like you said on the floor on purpose instead of the pottie. I guess I'll wait to see how you manage to get him to go inside the potty and then use your tactic. :)
The boys are getting so big and just adorable by the way.
I actually don't care (at the moment) about him peeing on the floor because at least he knows when he is sitting there he is supposed to pee. I have heard of the cheerio thing but am debating it because if I have him standing to pee it might be worse mess wise than sitting...........only time will tell which way go go though I guess.
